This project created an Access database prototype for General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE). The database stores Job Safety Analysis sheets, which were previously saved as word documents in various locations throughout GEAE, as a centrally located and searchable database. This prototype system is designed to be migrated from Access into Oracle during the next revision of General Electric's Client Server/Computer-Aided Process Planning (CS/CAPP) system, a third party database system utilized by GEAE for all manufacturing design instructions and information.
