This project created an electronic textbook for WPI’s Introduction to Robotics Course. The course did not previously have any textbook or other supplementary materials. Five chapters were created based on an analysis of the most basic or important topics covered in the class. A template was produced for each chapter based on design choices that were derived from a literature review and was then tested in the early production phase of the e-textbook. Once the book was published for use in the course, usability testing was conducted to find any design problems or suggestions for future development.
