Volatility of Tetrachloroethylene on Cape Cod

open in viewerTetrachloroethylene (PCE) is a known volatile carcinogen that has been found in many groundwater plumes. This study investigates the levels of PCE in air samples taken from inside well casings on Cape Cod. Results show that there are traceable levels of this chemical in the collected air samples which could potentially pose a threat to those exposed.
