The goal of this project was to design and run a contest that would produce a lunar base exhibit with visuals to promote building the real thing. This imagery would show the AIAA and science educators in the public schools to envision and appreciate the science education potential in an interactive lunar base themed exhibit which is inspired by the idea of a hands-on children’s museum. We started to bring in the city of Worcester to be a part of the project and hopefully build the museum in an unused public building, particularly the Worcester auditorium. This project will hopefully catalyze the process of redesigning science education in the city of Worcester.
