Saccharomyces Cerevisiae KTP for In Situ Drug Delivery & Diagnostics
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project investigates the probiotic potential of novel Saccharomyces cerevisiae KTP. S.c. KTP and S.c. 288C growth curves were generated under varying media conditions, including pH, NaCl concentration, and media type. Expression levels were compared using plasmids with different promoter, terminator, and fluorescent protein combinations. KTP exhibited a higher resistance to low pH than 288C but a lower resistance to high NaCl concentrations. Expression levels varied significantly between strains, suggesting more research is needed to characterize KTP’s unique genetic qualities.
