open in viewerThe American University of Armenia (AUA) and STEMGen seek to improve the quality of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in Armenian middle- and high-schools, so more students will pursue STEM degrees. We created a classification structure which pairs active learning methods with the verbs of Bloom’s taxonomy for a given student learning objective. Implementation of this structure will ease Armenian teachers into using active learning and Bloom’s taxonomy in class which will improve the quality of STEM education.
