Trust-based security model for P2P networks

Public

This project represents an attempt to design a trust-based security model for peer to peer networks that mimics the behavior exhibited by people in social networks. Each node monitors the activity of nodes it interacts with. Nodes that are observed to be well-behaved are rewarded with extra privileges over time, and nodes that misbehave are expelled from the network.

  • This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
