This project involved two components: 1.Confidential work with the Panama Canal Authority from July-October 2017, and 2.Reflections on the development of sustainable infrastructure from October- December 2017. The reflections examined the social impact of infrastructure projects on their respective communities and provided recommendations for lawmakers and engineers. The Atlantic Bridge in Panama was examined as a case study, followed by more general recommendations to provide guidance for developing infrastructure sustainably throughout the world.
