Through collaboration with Citizens Bank, the project team implemented a RESTful API that enables cloud-based FinTech interaction between financial institutions and Citizens Bank. By connecting to the Citizens Bank’s IBM-API Connect Development Portal, the RESTful API transforms account information to comply with Financial Data Exchange (FDX) API standards. By following these standards, the API laid the foundation for third parties to access financial data.
