Detecting Pollution in Surface Waters in Lorraine, France

open in viewerThe purpose of this MQP was to determine if and how gray and yellow water discharges could be tracked and distinguished from one another. A further goal was to determine whether the sources of pollution in the Meurthe and Moselle Rivers could be identified and tracked using fluorescence. It was determined that contaminants can be easily distinguished from one another and tracked to their source using this method.
