Design of a USB-compatible evaluation board

Public

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) has a current line of component evaluation boards which are viewed as too inconvenient, bulky and complicated with respect to current technology. ADI prefers a smaller, more integrated evaluation board design. Using ADI specifications, a fully functional, single board evaluation unit has been developed. This report details the design and final specifications for a USB-compatible, bus-powered evaluation board with an integrated sine wave generator and a newly developed graphical user interface. This new evaluation board is intended to improve ADI customer satisfaction by helping developers to quickly evaluate ADI products.
