Phased array audio antenna

Pubblico

The Phased Array Audio Antenna was developed to provide a comfortable and natural atmosphere for people in large conference rooms and lecture halls to communicate. This project focused on the design and implementation of a 16-element, planar, phased array of microphones. Control of the array was achieved by shifting the phase of the elements linearly with FIR filters using a Digital Signal Processor. A prototype array was designed, built, and tested.
