Improving the Tegra 4 Use Case Model
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerNVIDIA Corporation utilizes use case modeling extensively in Tegra 4 mobile processor design and verification. Use case modeling serves to provide the processor’s performance predictions to NVIDIA’s customers. The performance of a processor is benchmarked by various parameters, including frequency and memory bandwidth values which have the most impact on the Tegra 4 performance. In order to improve accuracy of the use case model’s predictions, post-silicon measurements of the Tegra 4 are compared with the model’s predictions, and resulting discrepancies are analyzed and reported.
