This project explores a modification of a stable marriage algorithm. The paper researches the background and history of a stable marriage algorithm, and the terminology necessary to understand the algorithm. Upon completion of this research a variation on a stable marriage algorithm that changes the notion of stability was created. Data regarding happiness of participants as well as proposals was recorded and used to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the modification.
