Costa Rica's Programa Nacional de Humedales (PNH), with the Ministerio del Ambiente y Energia, needs to fully understand the extent of the problems affecting the Palo Verde watershed to develop and implement effective restoration of the Park. This project compiles a thorough index of watershed research in Palo Verde, using documented studies and personal interviews with key researchers. PNH will have an integrated perspective of the problems in Palo Verde and be able to identify those topics needing further investigations.
