The project goal is to develop an effective, simple, and robust design concept of a fixture for integration will a rapid EDM cell. Design tools including the design process, ProEngineer, Unigraphics, computation fluid dynamics analysis, and CNC machining were used to produce a working fixture concept. Final analysis conceded that the final concepts require reevaluation in order to satisfy all functional requirements.
