Earned value analysis and alternative steel design for WPI Life Science and Bioengineering Research Center at Gateway Park

Public

A biology and life science center was recently constructed at the location of 60-68 Prescott Street. This was a result of a joint venture between Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Worcester Business Development Corporation. This project reviews the construction processes used to complete the structure. An Earned Value Analysis was conducted on the cost effectiveness of the 68 Prescott St. 2nd floor fit-out package. An additional part of this project is the design of an alternative supporting structure for the existing building on 68 Prescott St.
