Student Work
Testbed for WiFi localization
PublicThe purpose of this project is to create a testbed and evaluate the performance of different algorithms that are used to locate Wireless LAN Access Points (APs). The testbed was created by collecting and forming a database from different locations at WPI in Worcester and Chinatown in Downtown Boston. Using the testbed, the performance of three algorithms Least Square Algorithm (LSA), Simple Averaging Algorithm (SAA) and Power Weighted Algorithm (PWA) were compared.
