open in viewerThe primary goal for this project was to create an autonomous remote data transmission system for environmental researchers collecting data in remote locations. The system will be used in Kotzebue, AK to monitor environmental conditions. To design this system an interface between the Iridium Satellite Network and Campbell CR1000 datalogger was implemented and analyzed. The solution includes a fully functional prototype which is able to provide near real-time access to collected data.
