Reykjavík Reflections: Passing On Knowledge Gained During Our Time in Iceland
Público DepositedContenido Descargable
open in viewerThis project addresses the problem of how new IQP groups can learn from past ones. We documented our travel, cultural, and educational experiences from the Reykjavík Project Center in personal journals and conducted weekly surveys on the experiences of our Reykjavík cohort as well as off-campus travelers at other project sites. To pass our knowledge to future travelers, we developed infographics on local resources, weather/climate, grocery stores, transportation, money/finances, and places to visit; a Canvas quiz to be administered by the ID 2050 instructor; project center website updates; a site-specific Instagram account; organized alumni meet and greets; and a custom map. Moreover, we suggest mechanisms to update our materials, such as an end-of-term survey for off-campus students.
