Perhaps the oldest form of expression known to mankind, dance has continuously evolved and yet still remained an essential part of human existence. With the development of computer animation, a world of opportunity in communicating dance has opened. The Computer Animation Choreography project attempts to dig deeper into these possibilities, by creating an easy-to-use plug-in for 3D Studio MAX R2 that allows the user to make objects in a 3D Studio MAX scene dance to music parsed from a MIDI file.
