Massachusetts watershed analysis

Public

Most urban developments are faced with the problem of dealing with stormwater runoff, including treatment and recharge. The Lowland Industrial Park in Holliston, MA, was used as a typical site to evaluate hydrology and recharge potential using map overlays, the TR-55 methodology, an investigation of the existing drainage infrastructure, and the design of a stormwater treatment and recharge system. This project was developed in conjunction with the Charles River Watershed Association and can be used as a model for similarly developed areas. The final recommendations represent an effective stormwater management plan for Lowland Industrial Park.
