Factors Determining Success/Failure in Business Incubators: A Literature Review of 17 Countries

open in viewerThis project was sponsored by SRI International, Arlington, Virginia. It is a literature review of seventeen country's business incubator programs. Initially, data was compiled concerning individual business incubators and their attributes. Case studies were used to show real life examples of factors determining success and failure. The conclusion of this report is that there cannot be a universal method to successfully produce a business incubator due to unique government policies and culture in each environment.
