An in-depth study was conducted at Anderson's wire brush department in order to help them meet delivery dates and decrease their delay time. After analyzing material handling and process timings, a redesign of their layout and improvement to existing bottlenecks were recommended. In addition, cost-benefit studies were conducted to give Anderson different scenarios to choose from.
