The Workers' Compensation Office of the City of Worcester requested an upgrade to its current Workers' Compensation Claims Processing and Tracking System. The project team designed and implemented a new system to allow for more efficient information management. The new system is operational and easier to use. It uses a menu-driven Windows based interface to automate most business processes including the completion of all state forms and code lookups. The technologies used were Microsoft's VB 6.0 and SQL-Server 2000.
