Zeolite Catalyzed Ozonolysis
ÖffentlichHerunterladbarer Inhalt
open in viewerThe goal of this project was to investigate the active sites of zeolites catalyzing the reaction of ethanol and ozone, to determine the importance of the alumina to silica ratio, external surface chemistry, and to consider if this process can be acceptable for the treatment of waste water. An experimental method was developed and implemented, including the use of zeolites with varying silica content. It was determined that the Si/Al ratio and external surface area are responsible for speed of catalysis.
