Modeling the diffusion of distributed generation technologies into the existing electrical supply system
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerOur goal was to create a System Dynamics Model that explored the future interactions between the Electric Utility Industry and emerging Distributed Generation (DG) technology. The problem not only focused upon promoting the growth of DG within the current power distribution market but also promoting the growth of DG networks. The model was used as a test bed for testing various policy options and recommendations were made as to what solutions will have a positive impact for DG and should be adopted.
