This project introduces a novel design of the rehabilitative-assisted mechanism that provides active locomotion training for rodents affected by spinal cord injury (SCI). This mechanism is adjustable and can accommodate rodents of different sizes, which distinguishes it from existing mechanisms that lack this feature. In addition, its modular design facilitates maintenance and updates. We believe that our work has the potential to encourage the future development of rehabilitative-assisted mechanisms for human patients suffering from SCI.
