The purpose of this Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) was to develop a high school electronics curriculum that conveyed electrical and computer engineering concepts using robotics as a motivation application. The IQP team worked in conjunction with a former instructor in the electronics department at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School as well as two current instructors to plan a curriculum that would motivate students while teaching the mandated electronic education criteria. Curriculum development included the design of various lesson modules, demonstrations robots, as well as the creation of a competition that became a capstone for the students' work. This program was implemented at Assabet Valley over a six week period in March and April 2004.
