Groundwater recharge

Public

With growth in the Town of Blackstone, there is increased demand on the public water supply. The installation of a municipal sewer system, which carries the wastewater to Rhode Island, provides concerns of groundwater storage. We analyzed different methods to capture stormwater and infiltrate it into the ground, and came up with options to promote groundwater recharge, thereby lowering the strain on the public water supply of the Town of Blackstone.
