The needs of the Town of Douglas, Massachusetts were evaluated to determine the best location for and design of a track and field complex. Topographic, environmental, political and monetary constraints were considered. A site was selected based on accessibility, cost to develop the site, and future school expansion plans. A preliminary design for the track and field complex, including a budget, was prepared. Recommendations were made for the town to take further actions, leading to construction of the facility.
