Diagnostic enhancement for improved reparability

Public

The Global Customer Service group of Teradyne, Inc., a manufacturer of automatic-test equipment, desired enhanced diagnostic tools to improve repair capabilities. Onsite work was completed at Teradyne analyzing and modifying diagnostics for the Flash 750 flash memory tester. Repair technicians tested the enhanced tools, and it was found that repair times were reduced 33% - 80+% and failures previously difficult to diagnose were readily identified. This project served as a basis for modifications to Teradyne's development of repair diagnostics.
