This project provides an analysis of the earned value and design of WPI’s Smart World Building. This was done by analyzing the building through its design process, following the construction of the building, and researching alternatives to the design. By reviewing the implications of design choices and weighing potential changes to the design, this project showed the impact of construction project management decisions on the building. Examining this is beneficial to the industry because it provides insight into the impact of design choices and construction decisions.
