This project examined the use of public transportation by college students in Worcester. The team conducted focus groups and utilized recent surveys administered by college transportation providers to evaluate student transportation needs. Interviews with key staff at WPI were conducted to evaluate that school's transportation needs. Drawing upon successful transit systems in Providence, RI and Curitiba, Brazil, the team proposed modifications to both funding mechanisms and route designs of the WRTA.
