Analysis of Pratt & Whitney's work cell design methodology

A work cell design methodology based on lean manufacturing principles was researched. This methodology was compared with the process currently used by Pratt and Whitney to develop the Turbine Module Center in East Hartford, CT. Pratt and Whitney utilizes lean manufacturing principles to the extent that will best benefit them. The final methodology presented in this report is a combination of Pratt and Whitney's methodology and the researched methodology.
