Powered wheelchair dynamic stability model

Public

This project developed a mathematical dynamic stability model for powered wheelchairs. By performing a dynamic analysis for each of the situations in which powered wheelchairs may experience some level of tip, a comprehensive model that can be applied to a specific set of circumstances, was derived. The resulting model has been presented as an organized flow chart, and it will be used in the future to create a stability sensor that will warn powered wheelchair users before tipping begins.
