Climate Change Research Analysis

open in viewerThe Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is responsible for monitoring climate change in the U.S., and setting and enforcing regulations. National Center for Environmental Research (NCER), a branch of the EPA, funds technological projects that will mitigate global warming. The aim of this project was to research the developmental status of existing climate change technologies through literature reviews and interviews. Assessing what other organizations such as the Department of Energy are funding was another vital step. Using knowledge gained from the literature review, interviews, and assessment, recommendations were made to what technologies NCER should fund to have the greatest impact based on a limited budget.
