Watering systems for animals are an important part of a farm’s infrastructure. Efficient watering systems are critical to a farm’s animal health, financial success, and minimizing their environmental impact. Turn Back Time, Inc., (TBT) keeps multiple animals which need to be watered, and also provides nature-based educational systems. This creates an opportunity for students to learn about sustainable water systems. By creating resilient and efficient watering systems for TBT’s animals and creating play-based learning modules based on these watering systems, we were able to help TBT’s animals, save TBT money and labor, decrease TBT’s water footprint, and help teach the local community about water systems and conservation.
