Project Tūturuatu: Raising Conservation Awareness for the New Zealand Shore Plover
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe tūturuatu, shore plover, is an endangered species with fewer than 250 individuals remaining in the wild. Working with the New Zealand Department of Conservation, our team developed a campaign to increase public awareness regarding the fragile status of the tūturuatu. After gauging public awareness and conducting expert interviews, our team developed educational activities, as well as a social marketing manual to aid in the creation of content for a social media presence for the tūturuatu.
