Software Engineering Healthcare Application Framework

Public Deposited

Software Engineering is an undergraduate course designed to prepare students to program in the workplace by teaching them software development methodologies and design patterns. This course is often taught using an all Java framework, however, the industry is moving away from Java, so a modern framework would be more useful. The goal of this project was to develop and test a web-based framework for students to use in a Software Engineering course. To this end, the team developed a React-based technology stack then built a sample application with it to prove its viability. Additionally, the team created a series of useful resources and collected online resources to help future students quickly learn the technology stack and focus on the important aspects of the Software Engineering course.
