The goal of this project is to compare and contrast different potential trading strategies one could use in the stock market. The goal is to gather data which will reveal which strategies should be valued [9]. Four parallel stock market simulations were conducted for a period of eight weeks. Transactions made within these simulations were guided by two dichotomies. The first is that they may use the swing method or buy and hold method, and the second is that they may trade stocks or funds. Each simulation began with $100,000 to invest in a portfolio made of selected equities, and they all ended with an amount of cash between $98,000 and $102,000. Swing method with stocks had the best performance (1.91%) while buy and hold method with stocks lost 1.23%. The findings of this project will be helpful in making investments in the future.
