Rain Garden Project D24
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerTurn Back Time Inc. is a nature-based learning institution that was facing a flooding problem on one of their main walkways. We sought to build a rain garden in an area that would help drain excess water to make traversing the farm easier for students and teachers. After researching rain garden designs, native plants, and conducting many interviews, we created a rain garden on the property that addresses the flooding issue, serves as an educational tool for the children, and adds visual appeal to an otherwise uninteresting space.
