The project ... focused on reducing sediment loads entering Salisbury Pond at its main inlet. A sedimentation basin was designed based on original and archival data, a hydrologic model and research of appropriate BMPs. The design criteria included available area, peak flow capacity, removal efficiency, maintenance, and environmental and aesthetic concerns. The implementation of a BMP was vital to the future existence of Salisbury Pond.
