Problems in the current state of molecular visualization are discussed. Research is performed to determine how to improve the quality of molecular visualization presentations in the Cave at Brown University. A flexible client/server presentation system is presented as a solution. Usability tests indicate that the system provides an effective solution for both technical and nontechnical users.
