This Major Qualifying Project involved developing territory-based cost settings to determine the shipping method for Staples' North Reading, MA S ervice Delivery Operation. Through ride-a-long data analysis, zone to route assessment, profit and loss evaluation, route summary analysis, and package tracking results, we were able to develop variable, fixed, and total costs for territories in Routes 19, 75, and 92 to assist Staples Inc. in increasing efficiency.
