open in viewerIn Spring 2022, the University of Worcester in the United Kingdom installed a digital twin in the Sheila Scott building as part of their carbon neutrality initiative. Our team’s goal was to improve upon its usage to further energy reduction initiatives. We consulted the data collected by the sensors from the digital twin to identify potential energy inefficiencies. We then compared our findings against building user experiences to find causation and proposed inexpensive short-term and long-term recommendations for energy reduction within the building.
