System dynamics as six cycles of experiential learning

Public

I propose a new definition for the system dynamics (SD) problem-solving procedure. In my qualitative model, a practitioner alternates from apprehension to comprehension while approaching his/her environment actively or passively in a cycle of experiential learning that closely matches epistemology's justified true belief account of scientific method. As revealed by Khalid Saeed, well-established steps in SD modeling correspond directly to the alignment of David Kolb's cognitive and physical domains of learning. I arrive at a six-cycle, 24-step framing of SD method.
