Random number generator developed in reconfigurable logic

Public

True random numbers are key to modern cryptography, yet are extremely difficult to generate. Most hardware random number generators are implemented on custom platforms, which are expensive to develop and manufacturer. This paper examines a design for implementing a true random generator on a reconfigurable logic platform. The design process and analysis are covered in detail. Based on the results it would appear that it is feasible to produce a true random number generator on a reconfigurable logic platform.
