open in viewerThis project identifies how UV-C LED technology can be used for medical instrument surface sanitation within a portable application. The necessary light intensity, power requirements and general portability of such a system were evaluated to design a testable device. With the test results gathered, a prototype device was created to show the feasibility of portable solar powered sanitation with UV-C LED technology.
