Analyzing the Resettlement of Puerto Ricans Post-Hurricane Maria in Worcester

open in viewerOn September 20, 2017, Hurricane Maria made landfall on Puerto Rico, devastating the island and prompting an exodus of Puerto Ricans to the U.S. mainland. Projections of these migration numbers range widely. For our project, we made informed predictions of how many Puerto Ricans may arrive in the City of Worcester, Massachusetts and investigated what resources are critical for their resettlement.
